Construction has now officially begun. With Paul Singleton keeping things on track for me as our project manager and Smith and Severson contracted as the General Contractor, it appears that most the major hurdles to having our new hospital completed by early fall 2014 are now behind us. Thank you everyone for your patience and good wishes as we move ahead full steam. I am so fortunate to have such a supportive and dedicated team to help guide me through this process and look forward to sharing details of the construction each step of the way. First things first. my favorite…demolition!!!
With the help of Roger, Frankie and our Xray technician, Joe, we have spent the week clearing our every corner of the clinic to begin to identify electrical and water mains. The Xray machine was professionally disassembled and put into storage. The future radiology room will be properly lead lined with necessary permits in the coming weeks. As well, each exam room is being cleaned out to allow us to create a better flow and feeling of space with flip up tables and recessed computer work stations

After a year of several false starts, I’m thrilled to begin the process to remodel our future hospital. A meeting with architect last Wednesday went well and we finalized a working floorplan which includes 6 exam rooms, two separate treatment areas and a large, bright reception area with seating for 15 clients
. I look forward to sharing details of the construction in the weeks ahead and welcome feedback as we move ahead on this adventure.
